METIS YOUTH & FAMILY CULTURAL GATHERING

The Nova Metis Heritage Association is hosting a Metis Youth and Family Cultural Gathering on July 26th, 2015 at Bear Creek Park! From 11 am to 4 pm there will be a large set-up of organized sports games such as ball hockey, soccer, volleyball, and much more! Cultural presentations from local Metis Jiggers and Fiddlers will be happening around 1 pm, which will be accompanied by a free lunch! There will be an arts and crafts station where you can learn all about Metis beading, and take home your own creation! Raffle tickets can be purchased to win a variety of prizes, and every youth participant will go home with a gift bag.
